Slow Fashion Festival

Slow Fashion Festival

As part of Slow Fashion Festival, our team of three co-founders creates an annual collaborative zine that documents and celebrates our community.

Each issue features interviews with designers, recaps from the previous year’s events, and original writing on sustainability, fashion, and creative practice. The zine serves as both archive and artifact, capturing the heart of the festival while offering space for reflection, visibility, and storytelling.

We’ve produced three volumes to date, all rooted in the spirit of accessibility and collective authorship. Every spring, we host a zine release as part of our fashion show — bringing people together to celebrate not only clothing and design, but the conversations and care that shape our movement.

At Mutiny Market, I created a community-focused zine to give local artists a platform to share their work.

Designed with a raw, scrapbook-inspired aesthetic, the zine captured the unfiltered energy of our collective voice. We sold out two print runs, and the launch event drew over 250 attendees. For many contributors, it was their first time seeing their work in print, a moment of pride that reflected the project’s deeper purpose: to build connection through creativity.
